GET“Mission Garden-‘10” REALSPREADING Seeds of Faith and Hope to the greater community
Our Mission
Garden is about offering seeds of encouragement and hope... for anybody. It’s about community…as we can all help out
and join the project. It’s about Sowing Seeds of Faith … Let’s believe
we can make a difference in the lives of the needy and hungry. During Mission
Garden ‘10 we will grow to learn!
We have begun a Mission Garden in Bedford Center and we need volunteers to help the garden grow: now through harvest. We have a delightful mix of vegetables including peppers, okra, squash, tomatoes, celery, and lots more… so we hope that you will help us plant and grow. The art of gardening puts us in close contact with nature patterns. So connect with us and let us know what part you’d like to do to help the success of the project…send us an e-mail (getrealfoundation@comcast.net) …and keep in touch as things develop.
We have a wish list as follows…(leave any supplies to left side as you go inside Fellowship hall under left-hand coat racks /marked Mission Garden... Bag of Lime / or any wood ash; Organic Fertilizer…Espoma Plant Tone or Garden Tone; Landscaping cloth / Plant marker; 300- 6 ft. Stakes and Twine; 500 ft. of hose & standing “wide spread” sprinklers; If anyone has an extra “gazebo canopy” we could borrow…it would be nice to set up a shelter by the garden. Marigolds (perimeter of garden). Thank you for your support! For more information …please contact Vanessa or Rex Rodanas (coordinators of this effort with the Get Real Foundation and Mission Committee of the Bedford Presbyterian Church), telephone#: 472-5923
