‘12 Mission Garden :Seeds of Faith Help nurture the growing, harvesting … Bring your garden tools, gloves, sunscreen, and smiles!
We are planting our 2012- Mission Garden in the field just south of the Bedford Presbyterian Church parking lot. The focus this year will be a “potpourri – garden” with a mixture of vegetables and herbs, so if you will have some extra seedlings to help us plant..bring them along. The art of gardening puts us in close contact with nature and as such our schedule for the summer/fall will be flexible, planning around the weather patterns. Fresh produce from the garden will be picked and sold on Sunday mornings (after service) to raise funds for the needy and/or brought directly to the homeless and needy in our community. Our Mission Garden is about offering seeds of encouragement and hope... for anybody. It’s about community…as we can all help out and join the project. It’s about Sowing Seeds of Faith …working through and understanding the growth of a garden is amazing! So connect with us and let us know what part you’d like to play in the project. Plant, Weed, Water, Pick, Sell, Deliver…many hands make light work. e-mail: getrealfoundation@comcast.net web site: http://getrealfoundation.synthasite.com
