What can students do to help our planet?  GET REAL!!!   The GET REAL group is organizing to encourage thought, action and creativity through hands on projects.

Vanessa Rodanas, co-founder of  the organization with her brother Rex, presented a Thousand Dollar Honorarium to Families in Transition, a leading southern N.H. charity, at their sold out Annual Fashion Show on October 2.  The honorarium recognizes the GET REAL students' dedication to reduce hunger and poverty in the local community.

We would like to thank the community for their support of our BARN SALE BLASTOFF in Bedford over Columbus Day Weekend.  Special thanks to  Sheri Wilding-White, Harvest Market, Sunlight Realty, Prestige Auto Body, Brenda Godin, the Koeppl and Bailey families and the numerous friends and members for making it happen.  Through innovation, education and participation, we hope to encourage works for environmental and humanitarian causes, working towards a healthier planet.

We need help on our next initiative,..to collect as many "specially marked Stonyfield Yogurt lids" as possible. The protective metalic lids found under the top plastic lid of a 16 or 8 ounce container.  It pictures a group of kids with "Enter to Win" a collaborative contest with Stonyfield and Kaboom to make more play spaces for kids.  We are setting out drop zones with cans at various collection points (check in again for list of most current drop zones). or you can mail your lids before December 15 to GET REAL FOUNDATION   8 Rice Lane   Bedford, N.H. 03110.  Stay tuned for further updates!!
